The Middleton Trust
In 1981 Lord Middleton used the proceeds of the sale of the old village school to establish a charitable foundation to support education, especially religious education, in the villages of North and South Wheatley. The Foundation has an income of a few thousand pounds per year and regularly make grants to the village school. However, it has also supported research into teaching about the holocaust and educational visits abroad which involved service to others. The Trustees would welcome more applications from people resident in the parish or with a close connection to it.
